My name is Yasuhiro Ogasawara. I was born in Japan in 1957. I began tying flies for my own fishing at age 15.
I became interested in salmon flies in 2010, and began making hooks soon thereafter.
The hook is cut from carbon steel, bent, and finished with Japan lacquer, decorated with gold leaf.



 I very much enjoy salmon fly tying and the friends I have made.
