I started tying flies in 2008, and was immediately drawn to classic salmon flies. I was lucky to have found both local and virtual mentors willing to help guide a new tier in everything from selecting the right materials, to finishing the fly. Though it's been over a decade, I have never lost any of that initial enthusiasm for all things fly fishing related. I am a father and husband, so my limited personal time is divided between fly tying, fishing, building custom fly rods, and photography.
