Stuart Hardy is an internationally recognized fly tier and collector of vintage fly-tying paraphernalia, and
has accumulated one of the largest collections in the world-Including the personal items of George
Mortimer Kelson.
In his tying he likes to reflect the journey that fly tying has taken – from Irish Gaudy patterns of the mid 1800’s to modern classics and artistic creations. He will be demonstrating a variety of techniques using vintage materials from the period and is always keen to share his historical knowledge and insights into tiers and materials of the past.
