I started trying to tie Atlantic Salmon Flies about 25 years ago and after joining the Northwest Atlantic Salmon Fly Guild in 2006 I started really learning the skills required.

I enjoy tying full dress flies and Spey flies.

I fish Spey flies regularly for Steelhead and have fished full dress flies for them with success as well.

I would say my favorite full dress pattern is Kelson’s Butcher
